On 29 December 2025, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on 29 December 2025.

To date, 14,963 displaced persons have begun returning to their homes, resulting in a remaining total of 596,926 displaced persons, including 311,599 women and 187,597 children.
